Alan Prime
Commutations, Claims Management
Alan is Axiom's Senior Director of Reinsurance, leading a world renowned team working on cedant and reinsurer commutations. He has over 38 years' experience in the insurance and reinsurance market beginning his career in 1969 with broker Harvey Trinder Van Ommeren. He was previously Claims Manager with Baltica Scandinavia and Run-Off Manager at Insurance Corporation of Ireland. In 1989 he joined Axiom's predecessor company Alexander Howden Group Agency Management.
Alan has served on a number of industry bodies and committees and was founder member of the First Party Pollution Group.
